A successful school district places a high degree of importance on ensuring that all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential inside and outside of the classroom. At Mariemont City Schools, we not only believe this philosophy, but put it into practice daily. The 2018-19 school year was successful by all measures for the Mariemont City School District. The district received an overall grade of ‘A’ on the Ohio State Report Card and received recognition for its accomplishments in student growth. Our flagship Warriors BEyond program earned the district a national District of Distinction award and Mariemont Elementary earned the National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence as an Exemplary High Performing School by the United States Department of Education. And yet, there is still so much more to the story of Mariemont City Schools. This Quality Profile is intended to showcase the overall educational value of our school district in areas that matter most to our community. It highlights the many ways that our district produces exceptional results and the many experiences that make this community and school district such a special place to be. Mariemont City Schools continues its focus on the Destination 2026 strategic plan and how that instructional vision guides what we call the #MariemontExperience. In this Quality Profile you will see Destination 2026 in action as we strive to work smart, create experience and embrace growth. We want our students to learn and grow in both traditional and innovative ways. We want them to become global learners, strong communicators, responsible risk-takers and deeply committed members of our community and world. This profile shares the exciting things happening in our district and illustrates the true value of the #MariemontExperience. Of course, the results and accomplishments like those you will find in this Quality Profile are only possible because of the support of our fantastic community. The collaboration between our community, families and staff members is what positions our students for success. We thank you for your continued support and encouragement. If you would like to learn more about this Quality Profile, I encourage you to visit our website, www.mariemontschools.org.
