Room and Narrative This studio is to explore and understand the idea of architectonics.
A Woman ; isolated either physically or spiritually, loves to think; thinking about the future or problems that she might have now; Thus, she loves to read books as she would like to find any answers towards her problems encountered in her life
The brief requires students to choose one of the works from Edward Hopper; which describes a domestic scence. Project allows students to explore the meaning behind the artwork, and to expand it as the narrative of our own project brief. Doors and windows are used as the tools for expressions.
Edward Hopper: City of Sunlight
Analysis of the painting .woman being isolated in city, might be in a hotel (close to neighborhood's window, suggested she is living in a high density living environment, ie. city .neighbors are blacked out in painting, ie. isolated physically .she is alone by herself, ie. isolated spiritually)

Public Space in a Sydney Suburb Coogee Beach Community Centre (CBCC) This studio is to design the Coogee Beach Community Centre (CBCC), a multi purpose centre for the needs of local community and also visitors from around the world. The site situated at the Coogee Oval near the Coogee Beach, where the existing old centre has not been used for many years. It aims at retaining the Old Grand Stand which has a historical value to the community.

: a new community that involves social interaction with the existing communities; and to promote + introducing the on-site entertainment in one-spot.
Internal Connection = Interactions among communities + residents
Integrated Design Architecture As Evidence
Program: a mixed use building
This studio is to emphasize the evidentiary nature of design proces, as a necessary compliment to a well developed rhetorical stance.
7 car spaces, 5 units (1 disable, 1 3-4 bedroom multi generational, 2 1-bedroom, 2 studios/1-bedroom), jazz-club + restaurant/ cafe
The site situated near the Coogee Beach, with the existing building sits in front of a historical housing.

"Connection" is the theme of the project. The design encourages interactions among people by circulations. The Internal circulation promotes the social interaction among residents, and a continuity flow from private residential to public/ existing communities of Coogee, through the cafe and jazz club on the G/F. Changes happening around the site
According to DCP, project is not focusing on physical form of change; instead, a program which can bring foraward a new meaning to the communities, is the "CHANGE".
Architectural Design Studio 6 (Ed Lippmann/ Glenn Murcutt) Bondi Beach Mixed-use development This studio emphasis on planning, environmental and technological factors; their potentials to impact on architectural thinking and production. The site located at the Campbell Parade, which is the main vehicular throughfare providing access to buses and cars; just opposite the Bondi Beach. Acting as both a PHYSICAL HUB of activities and a VISUAL CONNECTOR across the east and the west, it encourages the interactions among different communities and bring alive the site by allowing different activities to happen there In order to faciliate the connections and interactions among the target stakeholders - tourists/ locals communities/families / people working nearby, the HUBS is designed with urban farms, cycling track into the viewing deck, public squares/ plaza, retails, entertainment, dining, exhibitions, galleries and spaces for artists.
Connections and Urban Repair This studio explores the evolution of a part of the city and looks at various strategies for repairing damage done as a result of intrusive interventions.
