Learning goals During my internship I will try to practice what I learned at school about:       

Building a brand- a promotion campaign for the gallery using social media marketing Contribute to the development of digital marketing and communication Provide creative and relevant conceptual thinking for a variety of projects Plan the implementation process including setting up deadlines Responsible for gathering information and data needed to create the materials Dialogue with customers and analyzing their needs Identification of new digital solution and market opportunities


Internship report – Week 1

      

Discussion with my client regarding my future activity at the gallery -Planning the tasks for this week Design a newsletter form and test it. Social media promotion for the future exhibition ” Sma historier” , which is part from the festival H.C. Andersen. Design the promotional material for the exhibition and print some street signs in Fablab. Update the gallery website. Research to find new digital solution and market opportunities Helping with the exhibition preparation for the H.C. Andersen festival



Internship report – Week 2      

Social media updates I tried to get acquainted with the artists who exhibited in the gallery and had the opportunity to personally meet some of them Gathering the materials for the new exhibition at the gallery Design the invitation and poster for the new exhibition. Print test for the invitation and choose the best one Research to find the best printing center with reasonable prices

Making photo at the art works Prepare the photos for website and social media posts Developing the promotion strategies for new exhibition Design the postcards for the ‘Skrobelinghed’ exhibition and send it for print Design the posters for the ‘Skrobelinghed’ exhibition Print posters in Fablab



Internship report – Week 4    

Send the newsletters and invitations for the opening day Social media campaign promoting the event Research the best places for advertising materials – Looking for people interested in art Placement of advertising materials, postcards and posters in the city at chosen places (Art Gallery Filosoffen, Kulturmaskinen, Cafe biografen, Turist office, Odense Concert Hall, Brandts museum, Club Dexter). Looking to create new connections and some future partners. Opening day – discussions with artists and guests about the gallery and their expectations

Making a decision on what social media platform the gallery will be visible online Intregrate the Instagram account in the Facebook page and website How to make a conection between social media platforms Looking for idea how to use Instagram account in social media campaing Research about how to find the audience on instagram Learn about how to use # and @ on Instagram for a bigger audience Research about how to identify the taste makers http://pin.it/D-C6BDK

Searching for travel guides website and make the gallery visible on this websites Making photos at the new art work and prepared it for online posts Prepare a presentation of the gallery Gathering information about ISSUU online publication Gathering information about Pintrest for a business. Looking for new partners for promotions and events. Online and offline.

Starting to use gallery’s Instagram account – testing Design the invitation and poster for the next exhibition SMALL Looking for solution how to present the new exhibition FabLab - to cut some presentation materials for Small exhibition Research online and interviews - What events can bring more customers? Research - what others galleries sell online?
