Intro
Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. I am an architect and graphic designer based in The Hague, the Netherlands. I studied in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and recently obtained my MSc in Urbanism from TU Delft. In this portfolio, you will find works from my professional and student experience throughout the years. I am always eager to explore the limits of creativity and challenging tasks are my motivation. Most importantly, my hope is simple: share creativity that expresses the concept clearly and makes people happy. INTRO

Interweaving Hong Kong
DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
Architectural Illustration MSc Studio project 2019 The project attempts to establish social and environmental guidelines for the development of the economy in the Greater Bay Area (GBA, China). Through four prototypes, the vision gives an idea of the possibilities of urban regeneration, new developments and densification adhering to the envisioned region through the proposed biophysical ‘‘backbone’’ in terms of spatial qualities. These illustrations celebrate the ideas behind each of the four cities, seen in the small scale. The biophysical backbone interweaves the currently fragmented GBA by using fields, planes, lines and points as conceptual elements.

Each illustration combines the indigenous character and traditions of each city and then enriches the image with an impression of the end result. The illustrations represent the combination of balanced development and the influence of the strong delta pre-conditions in the envisioned future development.

Personalised Characters Illustration Prints Freelance Project 2020I was commissioned to create portraits based on the personality and appearance of each person behind the illustration. For creating this project, I was inspired by female characters in contemporary cinema that break the rules of stereotypical portrayals of women. For this, ambiguity is important. I do not recreate immediately recognisable scenes, and instead keep the settings, the fictional characters and the expressions undefined. Since this project is ongoing, the illustrated portraits are posted on my personal social media pages. ‘‘MILDRED’’ DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION

‘‘PORTO 2’’ PENDENT POSTER
Pattern Design Freelance Project 2020
PORTO
The inspiration for this design were the Portuguese-style tiles that traditionally cover building exteriors. The pattern is based on actual enamel tiles, which I photographed while I was in Porto. The geometry is handmade, and the palette is limited to three colours. The resulting pattern is presented in three versions: the original and two alternate.

The thesis addresses the issue of stigma in one of the most neglected areas of Thessaloniki (GR). The construction of the settlement was completed around 1960, and consists of 1440 social housing units. The settlement preceded the intense urban expansion of the surrounding areas in the upcoming years, and was thus outside of the dense urban centre. Today, the housing development has not yet been integrated with the rest of the city, while its programme remains solely residential. The exception is the commercial centre, placed on the dividing highway.

FINAL PLANS
Rural family house Single-family residence Professional Project 2018-20 The proposal aspires to restore and refurbish one single-family residence in Touro, Galicia. Since its completion, the house had been victim to neglect and small improvements over the course of its life. The proposal re-establishes the structural integrity of the building and re-addresses the original layout. Some of the finishing materials were planned to be products of reuse.

The extension is generous in terms of space and benefits through actively borrowing external views and moderated sunlight. In its entirety, the interior design of the house reflects the transition between mid-century style and boho influence.
