AUT 184 - Building Construction 2 Nightstand made of mortar An architect has to deeply understand the different materials that he or she deals with in his or her architectural designs. For this reason, a nightstand made of mortar with steel grid was designed and built. The process of making it and analyzing what was possible to create with this material was as important as the design itself.

Mounting procedure:

1. Construction of the wood shape

2. Mounting of the frame and insertion in the shape

3. Insertion of the mortar and stripping

AUP 150- Project VI Typical Square of Channel City

This project is part of the new urbanization of the Metropolitan Waterway Ring of S達o Paulo, which is a network of navigable canals that transforms the main rivers into waterways and its margins into main metropolitan public spaces. The typical square contains commerce and institutional areas on the ground floor, parking lots on the underground, condominium spaces on the first floor and residential unities on the second floor and above. AUP 152 - Project IV Housing in the center of São Paulo

The objective was to fulfill the empty spaces of the center of São Paulo. An empty triangle with 86 m² was chosen, confined between two 10 floor abandoned buildings. The proposal was not to fill the empty terrain, but to use it as a link between the two buildings, thereby making them habitable. The structural walls were kept the way they are, with only a few new open spaces, essential for the circulation of light and air, while the interior of the buildings was completely remodeled.

Graphic Design

AUP 334 - City and Building Visual Communication: University of S達o Paulo The University of S達o Paulo is formed by seven different campuses spread in the State of S達o Paulo. The new visual identity of the university makes reference to the geographic distribution of these campuses. It is a dynamic logotype, since the red dot changes its place according to the city in which the university is placed. The visual identity can be used not only by the university in general, but also by the different colleges.
