The best part about being retired is never having to request time off. Wishing you the best retirement ever. JULIE BALZANO

Jim, You’ve been keeping our train on the tracks as well as laying tracks for us, and the marketing team would not be as successful and amazing today if it weren’t for you. Thank you for everything you do and have done. And also thank you for all the times (really every time) you have helped me to put together a national campaign and always made it better. I’ll miss you. AMANDA WARD

I have known you for only a short while, but I quickly learned the impact you make on not only our team, but this company. It has truly been a pleasure getting to work with you. Congratulations and enjoy your never ending vacation! MADISON HACKETT

SOMEONE HAS TO KEEP THE TRAIN ON THE TRACK

Jim, I wanted to take this moment to THANK YOU for all the mentorship, leadership, and friendship you have shown me over the past 21 years. Amazing that it has been that long, but because of you I have had great opportunities and success with the companies that you have brought me in to, especially here at MarineMax. Congratulations on your retirement and enjoy the new journey that you get to start/ continue out there in Palm Springs. You are a great person and a valued friend. The communication doesn’t end here for us. MICHAEL LUKUS

Although we didn’t work together long, it was clear by our other team members how valuable and dedicated you were to the team. I enjoyed working with you for the last month! Thank you for being welcoming when I started and I wish you all the best. MARY FAHEY

Jim, In my short time with MarineMax, Isee how much you are valued and appreciated by the team and most importantly, how ORGANIZED everything is! Thank you for all you’ve done! Your impact will be here long after you’ve stepped into this new chapter. Wishing you the best! SARAH LONG

Congratulations Jim, the day of your retirement from MarineMax has finally arrived, and we wish you all the best in your next chapters! Thank you for always being a great team leader, working with everyone to help create better efficiency, and bringing fresh creativity to all that the Marketing Team does. Best regards and take care! RAPHAEL RABE

Jim, Who knew wrangling cats could be a profession!? Well, you’re excellent at what you do, and we will all miss you terribly. Over the past seven years, I’ve learned a lot from you, and I’m always surprised when you come out of the left field with new ideas. I think that’s what I admire and will miss the most. Never afraid to go against the grain and disagree with a group discussion or to throw out a new idea not yet considered. Cheers to thinking differently, Jim! Congratulations on your retirement. LISA HARRISON

Jim, Thank you for being patient with me when I started, for the many fire drill MRFs, and overall, a great job keeping everything so very well organized. Best wishes to you! JENNIFER MILLER

Jim, For as long as I can remember you have been a pillar of our team. The time that I have gotten to know you and work along side of you will be something that will stay with me for the remainder of my career. You may not know it but I learned a lot of valuable skills from you over the years. Your ability to produce, be direct and drive things forward is something I now use in my career, and I want to thank you for that, this is my opportunity to do so. You will truly be missed by myself and the rest of the team and organization. I hope you enjoy every second of retirement and hope our paths cross again at some point. It’s been a pleasure! MATT MCDERMOTT

Hope retirement treats you well! Basecamp won’t be the same without you. ALIYA ESCODA

IF EACH STORE ONLY HAS ONE EMERGENCY A YEAR, THAT’S 1.5 EMERGENCIES A WEEK

Jim, It’s been a pleasure working with you the past 7 years, you leave big (BIG) shoes to fill! (one of the best CDs I’ve ever worked with)! Good Luck and have FUN!! CHRIS MOORE

Jim, Thank you for all you have done for our team throughout the years. We wouldn’t be the successful team we are today without you. I’m personally thankful for your support, encouragement, and guidance. I hope your list of fun and relaxing things to do during your retirement is greater than all the basecamp tasks you’ve managed here at MarineMax. Congrats! JEFF COOPER

Jim, Thanks for having faith in me to be part of this wonderful team. I appreciate the opportunity and regret that we couldn’t have worked together longer. I hope you have a wonderful retirement and wish you all the best in this exciting new life chapter! MARISA PANZARELLA

Jim, “ASAP Is Not a Timeline”. A funny quote, that means so much. From the day you started with MarineMax you showed your passion for your role and marketing. Once we began to work more closely together, I quickly realized your passion for the team and MarineMax as a whole. And then, time seemed to stand still. Our worlds changed, and we became even better partners. The support you gave me from the very moment we decided to take on the world of MarineMax marketing was second to none. You believed in me, in our goals, in our team and in our future as marketing. Indeed, it did not happen “as soon as possible” but rather we started from the ground up and created the team you see today. Thank you, Jim, for being a true team player, a visionary for what would come next, the Ying to my Yang (you have peeled me off the ceiling more than once!), by teaching by your actions and most importantly a person I am truly honored to call my friend. This is the only time that ASAP is a timeline, as I refuse to wait a long time to see you again! You will be so missed. ABBEY HEIMENSEN

Now basecamp is wherever you rest your head, enjoy retirement Jim! JASON KILLINGSWORTH

BRANDING IS LIKE THE BALDWIN BROTHERS – THEY DON’T LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME, BUT YOU CAN TELL THEY ARE RELATED

Jim, Thank you for all you have done for MarineMax. Your passion shows through in all of your work and it will always be a foundational part of the MarineMax brand. Thank you for your passionate contribution to the MarineMax Family. BRETT MCGILL

Jim, your level headedness and insight will be greatly missed, thank you for everything! LANDEN DEGRAFF

Jimbooo, Thanks for being the anchor that this team depends on, hope you have a wonderful retirement and that you don’t get basecamp notifications in your dreams/nightmares. Speaking of which I have an MRF I am submitting please add it to basecamp at your earliest convenience. Lol kidding. Can’t wait to read a news article saying “Former MarineMax employee sails the world after retirement to avoid questions on Basecamp”.Happy Retirement, and hope your next adventures are filled with an equal amount of passion and love that you showed us at work, if not more. PHALGUN NELATURI
