The “Tragachicos” is the most popular atraction for kids, a slide inside a “baturro” (typical man dressed with the traditional clothes of Aragón). AS WELL, YOU CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC AND ATTEND TO DIFFERNT STREET DANCE
The most important day of the Pilar festival, when people take on their traditional costume depending of the place they are from; and wait a long time since early in the morning for leave their flowers in the Virgin’s Mantle.

Do you like Reggae? You have to come to
Rototom Sunsplash is a the biggest festival of reggae music in Europe. The festival is 8 days of music, culture and good atmosphere. This festival isn’t only for young people, there are activities for all family (adults and child). The activities are all day, in the morning and in the afternoon there are workshops for child and adults, and also in the beach there is an stage with music and workshop of dance. On site there are a lot of shops with great variety of crafts products. At night there are many stages of differents musics. Finally within the enclosure also there are plenty of food stalls, with food from all sides of the world.

“LA CARPA DEL TERNASCO"
You can enjoy different kinds of music with all your friends in Parking Norte:
It’s the main act of El Pilar, people walk in file dressed with traditional costumes and take flowers to prepare an enormous cape for the big statue of the Virgin of the Pilar which is located the Pilar Square, just in front of the basilica. It takes place the 12th October.
You can go there from 6 to 16 October and enjoy a lot of activities for free, they start at 11:00 and finish at 1:00. It’s located in Macanaz Park.
Rave in the river (electronic music ) Dasoul (latin music) Maluma (reggaeton music) Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (Belgian duo of electronic music)
Anyway, if you don’t have enough money, you can listen to music for free in Pilar Square:
Fangoria (Spanish group that plays electronic music) Máxima Independance (the best DJs, dancers and sound and light show) A Night at the Opera (in homage to Queen) Sho- Hai y Xhelazz, RdeRumba, Sharif y El Momo (rap music)
There are contests, children's activities, cooking workshops and so on. You will be able to get the most out of the concerts that take place there as well, for instance: Los gandules, Artistas del gremio y dadá or Relunatics. OFFERING OF FRUITS The next day (13th October) people do the same but taking their best food for the Virgin.
Saturday, 15th: 21:00 Torrerramona Park Sunday, 16th: 22:00 : Macanaz Park (the grand finale).
The Fiestas del Pilar are the festivities of Zaragoza (Aragon, Spain) held in honour of the Virgin of the Pilar, patroness of the city. They take place the week of October 12. The City Council organises many festive events there.
