The contrast between the orange and blue against the los angeles skyline From chinatown
After my separation from los angeles I was able to see you again at empress pavilion in chinatown
We enjoyed our egg tarts together as we talked about our new experiences Yet we were back at a familiar place Seeing the sunset together again
I met a new friend on this day Along with my new and old friends We rushed here at sunset Back at empress pavillion
It’s always special to take someone new here And seeing the skyline against the sunset together
Once the sun goes down The sky is illuminated by the streetlights As it gets dark the sun light is replaced by artificial light
Everything felt like a facade We were happy watching the sunset But in the end of it all We would have to leave Los Angeles again
At the same time we had separate lives Yet we felt the same About not seeing Los Angeles as much as we used to
Every time I go back to Los Angeles Or before I go back to college I make sure to say goodbye to the ocean Because when I go back I can’t see her
Moments like these are more special When you experience the same moment with your friends Because you never know when you will see them again
I don’t always get to see the ocean at sunset But at this moment I was able to see orange glow from the sunset Hitting against the blue ocean
The summer breeze during the orange sunset The windows in the buildings reflect the sunset A green glow from the city lights
Is it really Los Angeles without palm trees in the horizon? A warm summer night The orange hue gives the sky a tropical feeling
An escape to the city Only two days in San Francisco Everything felt like a daze
A tourist spot in an unfamiliar city Everyone was around at sunset in the same location We were all experiencing the same moment But with different people
Have you ever dreamt of living with your best friends? Experiencing a new city together Seeing a new sunset together
We went to the track to see the sunset The buildings looked like silhouettes against the pastel sky The sky was filled with purple and yellow hues
After a long day we would chill in the couch by the window The room turned darker as the sunset approached But the room had a slight pink/purple tone from it It was only lit by one of us playing mario kart
Experiencing the sunset in my hometown After 6 years I wanted to cry Because everything felt so pretty at that moment
In my grandparents backyard I saw the leaves naturally framing the sunset I wondered whether you would’ve enjoyed this moment If you were there with me at that time
Who knew our last sunset together was going to be so vibrant I guess even lovely times Fade away over time
Seconds apart We change Just like the sunset We can develop different feelings
I biked by where you told me “I love you” Except the sunset was different this time Another tone of pink Reminded me that you’re gone
I convinced my friend to bike to the top of the parking lot Once I was at the top I felt nostalgic from the view and everything felt anew
The sky looked like cotton candy and the colors gave me a sweet feeling I wondered what emotions the sunset provoked in the people around me
