The ReNature 4th training course aims to provide participants with a basic understanding of the state of the art on the implementation of nature-based solutions in rural landscapes, with a focus on the Mediterranean region.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Define nature-based solutions and provide an overview of ongoing initiatives in the Mediterranean region;
2. Assess the demand for nature-based solutions based on environmental monitoring and socio-economic data
3. Identify nature-based solutions and interventions that may be applied in rural landscapes to provide co-benefits to human well-being and biodiversity;
4. Select the appropriate nature-based solution to address a specific societal challenge in rural landscape
