KAUFFMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS. KANSAS CITY, KS.
The center’s exterior consists of two symmetrical half shells of vertical, concentric arches that open toward the south. Each shell houses one acoustically independent performance venue, although the backstage area is shared. The south façade of the Center is made entirely of glass. Safdie describes the lobby as “an expansive glazed porch contained by a glass tent-like structure". For those inside Brandmeyer Great Hall, the glass puts Kansas City on display; for those on the outside, the Kauffman Center becomes like a terrarium, revealing the thousands of attendees backlit against the white interior.

ZAKIM BUNKER HILL BRIDGE BOSTON, MA (CENTRAL PAGE) MGALINDOV - 2015 The bridge concept was developed by Swiss civil engineer Christian Menn and its design was engineered by American civil engineer Ruchu Hsu with Parsons Brinckerhoff. Wallace Floyd Associates, sub-consultants to Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff, was the lead architect/urban designer and facilitated community participation during the design process. [4][5] The engineer of record is HNTB/FIGG. The lead designers were Theodore Zoli (from HNTB) and W. Denney Pate (from FIGG). The bridge follows a new design in which, besides having its eight primary lanes running through the towers, a pair of northbound lanes are cantilevered outside of the cable-stays.

The Williamsburg Bridge has an unconventional structure among suspension bridges; though the main span hangs from cables in the usual manner, the side spans leading to the approaches are supported by trusswork, drawing no support from the cables above.
The main span of the bridge is 1,600 feet (490 m) long. The entire bridge is 7,308 feet (2,227 m) long, including approaches, and the deck is 118 feet (36 m) wide. The height at the center of the bridge is 135 feet (41 m) and each tower is 310 feet (94 m), measurements being taken
from the river's surface at high-water mark. sa voluptam et faccum s inctet, s im uidebis volorum volorist, ommod quas cus,

The Southeast 17th Street bridge is a bascule drawbridge located just north of the Port Everglades cut. The causeway goes from the westside off US1/Federal Highway eastward over the ICW and twists northward becoming A1A along the Fort Lauderdale beach. The
western approach is known as the Commodore Brook Causeway while the actual bridge is named after Clay Shaw. The State of Florida maintains her along with other ICW crossing bridges.

"THE ARTIST WHO DOES NOT CONCEIVE OF A STAIRCASE AS SOMETHING FANTASTIC IS NOT AN ARTIST." - GIO PONTI
NASHVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Nashville, Tn. 2008
The stairs are one of the oldest buildings in architectural history, they have always played a central role in the history of humanity, although it is difficult to tell exactly in wich year they were born, it is believed his appearance was by the year 6000 before Christ. The stairs seems to change shape with the change of architectural eras, reflecting the trends used in different ages and revealing the talent of those who designed them. VIZCAYA PALACE Miami, Fl 2011
The first stairs in the history were wood trunks fitter together, these kind of stairs were used to acquire strategic positions for survival. In a basic sense, the first use which was given to the stairs was to overcome the difficulties presented by the terrain, such as valleys or mountains, the goal was to be able to pass these difficulties as soon as possible, move up often meant moving to a place of greater security, then this could have meant at that time the difference between life and death, it was very important to move quickly, hence the importance of the stairs.

The 1.7-million-square-foot facility amazes the senses of passengers with its architectural design as it meets their travel needs. South Terminal encompasses a new Concourse J with 15 gates and a renovated Concourse H.
Nashville International Airport BNA is Tennessee's primary airport and serves its capital city of Nashville - named as one of the best places to spot a country star, and it is the gateway to the country music capital of Tennesee. BNA also takes care of everyday folks just fine with art exhibitions and live music performances on the ticketing level.
In 1941, Louisville International Airport began its life as the Standiford Airfield, (SDF) being constructed by regional army forces. The airport opened with one long runway, measuring around 1,220 metres / 4,000 feet. Soon SDF began handling more than 1,000 passengers per week and in 1950, the new Terminal opened, able to handle annual passenger levels of around 150,000. So, by 1970, passenger numbers had rocketed to over one million each year.

This project consisted of over 3,000 square feet of renovations from ceiling to floor. The idea behind this project was to highlight the backyard and bring the beauty of the pool and adjacent waterway into the living spaces. Our team created the height of the ceiling our client desired by leaving the trusses in sight. In using materials such as brick and wood along with utilizing different lighting, we were able to achieve a relaxed luxury feel throughout the spaces.

"The basic rules of proportion and scale are unchanging. They are reinterpreted according to the needs of the time. I like simplicity and I believe in restraint. Above all, there should be harmony-of proportion, line, color, and feeling. The most important element in decorating is the relationship between objects- in size, form, texture, color, and meaning. None of these is in good taste in itself but only in relationship to where it has been placed and what purpose it is to serve." - Eleanor Brown "...People's live are expressed in little details.... The soap in the bathroom, the flowers in the garden, the books on the bedside table are all strong symbols of a life in progress. You look at these details and a world unfolds - here are their books, the paintings they cherish, the music that soothes their souls." - Charlotte Moss
