Museum Site: Chihuahua, México

SHOWROOMS

STORAGE

This proposal seeks to place a contemporary art museum in a downtown urban area, while minimizing impact on the surrounding historic edifices. Projecting construction downwards serves to respect height limits, while simultaneously enhancing acoustics and regulating temperature. Dynamic shapes respond to the museum’s aesthetic program while regulating the density of users by creating a non-linear circuit.

Aquatic Center Site: Puebla, México The inspiring idea of the project stems from the urge to reflect the geographical terrain on the site structure. The topography observed in Zacatlán, which is changing at various points, dictates the way the planes and axes of the project rise or descend to achieve the concept.

Office building Site: Querétaro, México 10,000 m2 The idea came from a site grid by removing segments to produce different volumes while respecting lanscape views. The result was a central Core which includes natural illumination, stairs/escalators, WC and the surrounding offices. At the same time, the Core serves as the most important element of the structure given the ground floor’s designated public space. *In collaboration with Andrea Ayub

Drawing Machine Critic: Thomas DeMonchaux This witty apparatus seeks to translate real visual representations into abstraction. Guided by all of the user’s digits, the machine stimulates the sense of touch. The unexpected outputs of the machine serve as inspirational leads for creating projects.
