“The pick of the bunch” is how some of our travel counsellors describe cruising the Southern Caribbean. “I just love this cruise itinerary,” says Natasha Plingen, Maritime Travel counsellor, West Vancouver, BC. “It may cost a little bit more than other itineraries, but it delivers way more value than you can imagine.” It’s no secret that exotic islands like Martinique, St. Barth’s, and Antigua in the Southern Caribbean are a little harder to get to, and are a little pricier than some of their Latin counterparts when it comes to visiting them. That’s where cruising comes in. “Some of my clients think the English and French islands of the Caribbean are out of their price range, and will automatically turn to the more popular, direct, all-inclusive destinations that are on offer from tour operators,” says Natasha. “Their eyes light up when I suggest a Southern Caribbean cruise.”
