I have been the local Tarewa Road Neighbourhood support street/group contact person for the past 12 years and it is a role I really. You have to be a true community minded person to fulfil the role of the street/group contact person for your neighbourhood. I see the role of group co-ordinators as an essential service-it always has been. As we all know, our Police staff are busy all of the time and I know that they also appreciate the support they receive from the street/group contacts and the Neighbourhood Support office team.
