A message from the MP for Rotorua Todd McClay

Message from the Rotorua MP

Recent developments around law and order and crime have challenged Rotorua.

Stories of vagrancy and homelessness around Fenton Street and the CBD are certainly troubling.

Many residents have noticed an increased gang presence in our city and don’t feel as safe as they used to. With all of this I firmly believe Rotorua remains a fantastic place to live. It has much going for it and is home to wonderful, caring people.

Hon Todd McClay

MP for Rotorua I hold constituent clinics every week, and I am here to help.

Authorised by Todd McClay, Parliament Buildings, Wgtn. The work of Neighbourhood Support has never been more important. It helps keep our neighbourhoods connected and our community safe. We are fortunate to have such a strong and dedicated Neighbourhood Support team. I would like to thank them for their dedication and hard work. My staff and I are available to help you where we can. We can assist with a wide range of issues and I’m always interested to hear the views of local people. I hold regular constituent clinics in my office in Rotorua and we make space available for community groups to meet – free of charge. If you would like to meet me, or have an event or organisation I might assist with, please get in touch. As your MP, my door is always open.

Best wishes for the year ahead.
