Sara Blackmore, owner and Audiologist has a Masters of Audiology and a Bachelors of Speech and Language Therapy. Prior to opening her own clinic, Sara worked for a large chain all over NZ, where she worked clinically, supervised new graduate Audiologists and was in senior management. With Sara’s strong ties to the community as a fourth generation Marlburian, it was an easy decision to settle in the region with her husband and young family to enjoy the fabulous lifestyle the area offers while providing the area with a much-needed local option for all their hearing needs.

Hearing loss is something that will affect most of us as we age, by 65 years of age, 63% of males and 51% of females will have hearing loss. Research shows that on average it takes someone 7 years to decide to do something about their hearing loss - a long time to be struggling to hear the things that you love.

Blackmore Audiology is a registered provider for ACC, VANZ, Ministry of Health and WINZ.
