Leicester City Football Club, founded in 1884 is an institution in English football, with 12 promotions, 3 League Cup wins and four FA Cup Final appearances in the club’s illustrious 131 years history. They are champions of the English Premier League, the most watched football league in the world, a feat marked as the biggest success in the history of Club sport. LCFC was bought by the Srivaddhanaprabha family (King Power International) in 2010. Their considerable and on-going investment in all areas of the club (including the stadium) has ensured LCFC are geared for establishing themselves in the Premier League.
