Extreme Direction The show would focus on the topic of extreme sports around the world such as high altitude skydiving, free climbing, mountain unicycling and sky boarding.

Survival Direction Carpe Diem focuses on taking advantage of everyday. The show would focus on individuals that live in the most extreme conditions and make the most of the preciousness of life.

Police Bust Direction Playing off the title “Seize the Day”, the show would focus on the process of police seizures.

CONCEPT

Seize the Day The show adheres to National Geographic’s commitment to education by informing the audience of the process of police seizures. Each season would focus on the gathering of intelligence and planning that is involved in the police raid. The season would end with the raid and seizure of criminals and their assets.

WORZDMARK PRINT

VERSION

The wordmark utilizes minimalism in order to emphasize the boldness of the police seizures. The yellow bar is reminiscent of one side of the National Geographic logo. The rectangle also recalls the shape and color of police tape. The placement and scale of the typography suggests three dimensionality and the multiple layers of the police raid. The three dimensionality of the typography and shape is employed throughout the show brand identity.
