SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20TH The Winston-Salem community has been lighting luminaries in honor of Ronald McDonald House families since ����. This holiday tradition has helped to provide a “home-awayfrom-home” for over ��,��� families. Luminary kits containing six bags,
six candles, and sand are assembled by volunteers and sold by retail stores and volunteer Street Captains. A volunteer sign-up sheet will be available on our facebook page (facebook.com/Brookberryfarmhomes), as well as in the neighborhood email.

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP CRANBERRY COOKIES Y I E L D : � D OZ E N C O OK I E S
8 ounces (� sticks) salted butter, softened � cup white sugar � cup light brown sugar � teaspoon vanilla extract � teaspoon orange extract � egg � cup vegetable oil � cups all-purpose flour � cup crushed cornflakes � cup quick-cooking oatmeal � tablespoon baking soda � /� teaspoon salt � cup white chocolate chips � cup sliced almonds � cup dried cranberries
Preheat oven to ���º. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugars, and vanilla and orange extracts. Add egg and mix. Add oil and stir. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornflakes, oatmeal, baking soda, and salt. Add to batter. Stir in white chocolate chips, almonds, and cranberries. Form dough into �-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet, and flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake for �� to �� minutes. Remove cookie sheet from oven, and let sit for � minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
