Personal Statement advice from Durham University Expert advice on Personal Statements is available through the school via your form teachers, subject teachers and UCAS advisers, but if you would like some more input, Durham University are offering some 1-2-1 sessions: Sessions last 30 minutes and the Durham staff will give advice on draft statements. Sessions are currently running from 18 October 2021 - 15 January 2022. Places are limited, so make sure you book a place soon.

School reference added by tutor with predicted grades → Application checked by UCAS Adviser (Student pays for application online – Pay & Send) → School reference checked by Adviser → Adviser books student to see the Headmaster → Student meets Headmaster to discuss application → Headteacher sends Application (only Mr Stanley can send the application to UCAS) Personal statement resources via Schoogle Enhance your UCAS application Schoogle page - Wider reading and tips to make an impact. Monday, Tuesday, Friday break and lunchtimes. → Find out about sponsored degrees Employers have various titles for sponsored degree schemes, including school leaver programmes, sponsored degrees and scholarship schemes. It might sound confusing, but the great news is that in all cases you can expect more than an average degree, including one year industrial placements, paid summer work experience and annual scholarship or bursary payments.
