NEW IN!

AUTHOR VISITS…

What a fantastic event! All students were thoroughly engrossed within the first few minutes.

Lou gave a fantastic presentation throughout the day to all Year 6s, 7s, 8s and we should be proud of them! They asked some fantastic questions, were so engaged that when a member of staff came in to Gore, she said you could have heard a pin drop!

Lou even met our Library ambassadors who asked some amazing questions about her inspirations behind her stories.

On Tuesday 28 February, Senior and Junior school students were visited by the award-winning author, director and explorer Matt Dickinson who gave three fantastic talks to the whole of the Junior school, Year 9 and Year 10.

As an award-winning film-maker and writer, he has lived a life full of adventure, surviving an avalanche and killer storms! Matt writes books to inspire a whole new generation of climbers and explorers; we’re very glad to say he also inspires readers and reading. Matt’s visit was a real treat for students and staff alike.
