Our impact across the globe

Research and enterprise at Loughborough are addressing and providing solutions to global issues. The academics delivering this work are making discoveries that will shape the way we live tomorrow.

In partnership with Transport for London we have developed a new system for measuring blind spots in trucks, which will improve road safety and save up to 500+ lives a year in Europe. In an age where chemical, biological, radioactive or nuclear (CBRN) emergencies, both accidental and deliberate, pose a real threat to society, we are creating new integrated systems and technologies to aid first responders and save lives.
