Business explores the key themes relating to building a successful business. Business courses include a variety of topics: Decision making tools, the psychology of marketing, Finance and accounting, Ethics and International trade.

A LEVEL • LEVEL 3 Students will cover the core fundamentals of business; Internal and external influences that can affect a business and its operations. They will apply their knowledge and understanding from this to a global context. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Five GCSEs at grade 9–4, including English Language and a minimum grade 5 in Maths. BTEC Level 2 qualifications considered in subject related courses. WHAT NEXT These desirable skills enable students to become highly skilled, work-ready individuals with a bright future in any business environment or setting, such as an apprenticeship, Higher Education or into employment.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE/NATIONAL EXTENDED CERTIFICATE • LEVEL 3 (BTEC) The Certificate offers an introduction to a vocational sector through applied learning of topics such as Marketing, Legal Structures and importance of Enterprise within an economy.
