Money matters

Dance at Andover College is known for its diverse variety of styles and professional workshops. The dancers learn and choreograph routines throughout the year for two dance shows, other local events, competitions and also take part in the Christmas Pantomime and end of year Musical. We train each dancer through a range of technique and flexibility classes and also work towards audition preparation for Higher Education or work within the Performing Arts industry.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE/NATIONAL EXTENDED CERTIFICATE • LEVEL 3 (BTEC) This course covers choreography, performance and theory. You will study the principles used to create dance choreography as well as developing performance skills and dance technique. You will also watch, analyse and critique dance work as well as learning to understand the human body anatomically.

NATIONAL FOUNDATION DIPLOMA/NATIONAL EXTENDED DIPLOMA • LEVEL 3 (BTEC) This full-time dance course will enable those who are truly passionate about dance to train in numerous styles and techniques, exploring a range of stimuli and studying choreographic principles. UCAS TARIFF POINTS AVAILABLE
