COURSE FEES

UNDER 19?

No tuition fees! If you’re under 19 on 31 August in the year you start your course and are a UK or EU resident, you won’t need to pay tuition fees or examination fees for your course.

Depending on your household income, you may also be able to get help towards travel, accommodation, essential equipment or childcare costs. See Financial Support section on page 102 for more details.

OVER 19?

Fees usually apply, but you may be eligible for free tuition, depending on the course you want to study, your existing qualifications and your financial circumstances – please contact us for more information on 01962 797280.

LOOKING TO STUDY AT LEVEL 3?

Get ahead with an Advanced Learner Loan. Loan eligibility doesn’t depend on your income, there are no upfront fees or credit checks.

If you have not been normally resident in the European Union (including UK) for three years before the start of your course of studies, you will need to pay international fees.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES PAYMENT

This payment contributes towards the many extra-curricular activities offered by the College and is payable by all students, whether paying tuition and examination fees or not. As a guide, the payment for 2019–20 was £89. A one-off higher payment of approximately £425 applies to our Outdoor Adventure course due to the nature of their course activities, which include trips and expeditions to North Wales, South Wales and Dartmoor, using our fleet of canoes, kayaks and mountain bikes.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Fees are payable at or before enrolment, or through our interest free instalment plan. To find out more call 01962 797280.

REFUNDS

In normal circumstances, you will not be eligible for a refund of your fees if you withdraw from your course before you complete it. If payment is made by instalments, any outstanding amounts will continue to be taken.
