If you’re under 19 on 31 August in the year you start your course and are a UK or EU resident, you won’t need to pay tuition fees or examination fees for your course. Depending on your household income, you may also be able to get help towards travel, accommodation, essential equipment or childcare costs. See Financial Support section on page 102 for more details.
