Market Update Albert Einstein, a man who needs no intro, is always revered as the genius who introduced revolutionary ideas and unprecedented ways of thinking to humanity. But he is also responsible for proving to the world that some of life’s most profound truths happen to be right in front of us.

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.” Now it may seem odd that an introduction letter to a real estate market report would include a quote from Einstein, but - and I’m sure you’d agree, the first quarter of 2020 has indeed been one for the books - for all of us. Thankfully, because of the unflappable wisdom of those like Einstein who have also endured uncertainty, we can remember that during chaotic, unprecedented times such as these that at the end of the day there’s always hope for tomorrow. That, for sure, is definitely something I’m grateful for. In regard to the rest of Einstein’s quote - the learn from yesterday and live for today part - I’d thought I’d share what that looks like in regard to real estate happenings throughout the region as of now (this is a market report, after all). Surprisingly, current numbers indicate that it is still a fantastic market, and that it’s almost never been a better time to sell. Take a look at the number of new listings compared to the number of pending sales in the last 3 months. The number of homes that continue to sell is remarkable, and suggest more than anything that we remain a Seller’s market. So what does any of this mean? First, let’s celebrate the wisdom of amazing leaders who have taught us that worrying doesn’t do us much good.
