2. Place the larger items on the board first. This will ensure there’s enough space for them, such as, any bowls, gourds, clementines or grapes. 3. Next add cheese slices, salami, pepperoni or any meat you want to add. 4. Add in the smaller snacks is easy once you know where there are spaces to fill, such as, nuts, olives, fruit, popcorn, candy corn, pretzels, etc.

Sweet and Tangy Meatballs • frozen meatballs • 1- 16 oz. jar grape jelly • 1- 12 oz. jar of chili sauce 1. Put the entire bag of meatballs in a slow cooker and pour the jelly and chili sauce on top, stir the meatballs around until they’re all coated. 2. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Toss every couple hours or so to re-coat the meatballs in the sauce. Keep warm until ready top serve.
Pigs in a blanket • 1 package Lit’l Smokies® • 2 - 8 oz. refrigerated crescent roll dough 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Separate each package of crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles. 2. Place 1 sausage on the wide end of triangle and roll towards the point. Place wrapped sausage point side down on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining sausages. Bake 9-10 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ketchup and mustard if desired.

Monster Burgers PATTIES: • 1 lb. ground beef • 1/2 tsp. salt • 1/8 tsp. black pepper • 2 tsp. dried thyme • 1 large egg • 2 tbsp. breadcrumbs • 4 tbsp. cooking oil
MAYO SAUCE: • 4 tbsp. mayonnaise • 4 tsp. ketchup
BURGER ASSEMBLY: • 4 hamburger buns , see note 2 • baby romaine lettuce (2 leaves per bun) • 4 slices of cheese , see note 3 • 4 tbsp. ketchup • dill pickles , sliced lengthways (4 slices) • 8 large green olives (without stones)
1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, thyme, egg and breadcrumbs. Using your hands or fork, mix thoroughly. Distribute the seasoning as evenly as possible. 2. Divide into 4 equally-looking pieces. Roll into balls and place onto a tray lined with baking parchment. Press down until you get large and thin patties. Press each in the middle to make a slight dent. 3. Heat oil in a large skillet, place patties in and cook to your preferred doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side. You can also grill them or oven-bake. 4. For mayo sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayo and ketchup. 5. Assembling: Take a bun base, spread with about a tablespoons of mayo sauce, lettuce, cooked burger. 6. Top with a slice of dill pickle and a slice of cheese that you have cut some triangles out so it looks like teeth. Spread about a tablespoon of ketchup over (to resemble “blood”) and cover with bun. 7. Stick 2 large green olives onto 2 toothpicks and stick these into the bun. (Make sure to remove the toothpicks especially when serving these to kids.)

Healthier Halloween Snacks! Pumpkin Veggie Tray • round tray • 2 lb. baby carrots • 1 celery stalk • 1 mini bell pepper • 1 English cucumber cut into thin slices • 1/2 cup hummus 1. Spread baby carrots over the tray so that the entire tray is covered in orange carrots. 2. Thinly slice English cucumber. Place over the carrots in the shape of a mouth. 3. Place hummus in small bowls, centering them for the eyes.

4. Slice one celery stalk into three separate pieces. Arrange at the top of the tray to look like a stem. 5. Place mini bell pepper in the center of the tray for the nose. Serve and enjoy!
• 4 kiwis, peeled and sliced crosswise into thirds • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted • 24 white chocolate chips • 2 banana slices (1/4 inch thick), quartered • 12 wooden popsicle sticks 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. 2. Cut a small slit into the side of each kiwi slice. Slide in a popsicle stick. Place on the baking sheet. 3. Spoon melted chocolate into a small plastic bag. Snip off a tiny tip of one corner. Decoratively pipe hair on the upper third of each slice. Press two white chocolate chips (flat-side up) into the kiwi to create eyes. For the bride of Frankenstein’s hair, press a banana slice into the chocolate. Pipe Frankenstein’s stitched mouth, the bride’s lips and dots on top of the chips for the pupils. There are currently eight allergens with sesame soon to be officially on packages making for a total of nine. So for purposes of this list, we are only considering the current top eight. Make sure you read not only the ingredients but also the manufacturing statement to be aware of if the product was made in a facility that contains these top eight allergens where cross-contamination is possible. So if you think that all chocolate is out, think again because there are some delicious treats that still contain cocoa to be able to pass out to your trick-or-treaters this year. Halloween Punch • Green Gatorade • Sprite (or 7-Up) • Sour Gummy Worms
1. Fill puch container 1/2 way up with ice 2. Sprinkle some sour gummy worms over the ice.
1. Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and stir well. 2. Allow sangria to sit at least 2 hours (overnight is best) before serving over ice. Add some of the alcohol-soaked fruit to each glass.
3. Pour equal parts of green Gatorade and Sprite over the worms 4. Add more gummy worms to the top, if desired.
Pumpkin Cooler 1. Choose a pumpkin that can stand upright on its own and is large enough for fill with drinks. 2. Remove the top and clean the inside of the pumpkin. 3. Candy Bar Pie • 1 pie crust • 1 cup brown sugar • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened • 1 egg • 2 tsp. vanilla extract • 1 tsp. baking powder • 1/4 tsp. salt • 1 cup flour • 1 cup candy bars, 8 miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, about 15 mini Rolos, and a handful of M&Ms used in this recipe • Extra candy for the top of the pie
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Place pie crust in a 9” pie plate, crimping as desired. Press the sides of the crust so they are firmly attached to the edges of the pie plate. 3. Cream brown sugar and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (or you can use a hand mixer). Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. Add baking powder, salt, and flour and mix. 4. If you are using a stand mixer, add your candy bars to the bowl and mix on medium-high to chop of the candy. If you’re using a hand mixer, coarsely chop the candy, the mix it into the dough. 5. Press into prepared pan (dough is sticky, spray hands with cooking spray to avoid it sticking to hands). Press some remaining candy on the top for decoration. Press the sides of the crust that are showing with the tines of a fork a few times. 6. Bake for about 24-30 minutes, until the crust is browned and the top of the pie is golden. It may still be a little jiggly in the center. Cool completely before cutting. Serve by itself or with whipped cream or ice cream.
