CUSTOM FIT Custom Fit provides high-quality training solutions for Salt Lake County businesses, utilizing tuition assistance provided by the Utah state legislature. These flexible, customizable courses are available at a reduced cost to assist growing companies as well as flourishing businesses. Trainings can be customized to fit most industry needs.

CUSTOM TRAINING We take the headache out of finding the right training solution for your organization. Our staff expertly handles each detail, from concept to contract negotiation. Our procurement process allows us to provide high-quality training to match your needs at prices significantly lower than elsewhere in the marketplace.

PUBLIC COURSES If your team doesn’t need a full training, or you have a small company where it isn’t cost-effective to operate a private training, SLCC runs public training courses on a regular basis covering a wide range of topics, from leadership to manufacturing to employment law. These also provide an excellent opportunity to sample training options available through SLCC.

Employment Law for Managers $180/person ($90 per person for qualified companies) Supervisors, managers and executives have the most day-to-day interaction with employees, but often know the least about employment laws. This places a significant amount of a company’s legal liability in the hands of those least prepared for it. The best way to minimize that liability is to give managers, supervisors and executives the information they need to understand and make everyday employment decisions. This fast-paced course is filled with realistic scenarios to help participants improve their employee relations skills.

New Perspectives on Change $300/person ($150 per person for qualified companies) Change reflects an opportunity for professional growth rather than paralysis; in this course, participants will learn how their perspective of change impacts their lives. The instructor will introduce tools for lessening feelings of resistance, stress and feeling overwhelmed when obstacles occur. Participants will develop skills that support taking control of situations, greater self-empowerment, confidence and productivity.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt $1,250/person ($750 per person for qualified companies) Participants will learn Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance both waste reduction and process improvement skills. They will also take away strategies to help successfully deploy Lean Six Sigma initiatives and lead small-scale improvement projects within their company.

Global Business Management $995/person (discounts available) The Executive Certificate of Global Business Management is offered to business executives, professionals, working staff, entrepreneurs and qualified students who wish to increase their knowledge and improve their strategies in global business practices.

Leading Multigenerational Teams $300/person ($150 per person for qualified companies) Today’s leaders are navigating the largest demographic shifts ever seen in the workplace. With four generations represented in significant numbers, the workplace is changing rapidly and leaders need to learn generational intelligence that allows them to bridge the gap.
