BACD Charity Whitening Drive 2014 “Giving everyone a reason to smile” Raising money for Bridge2Aid After an amazingly successful event last year the BACD charity tooth whitening drive is back! And this year we hope to raise even more money for the incredibly worthwhile dental charity Bridge2Aid. About Bridge2Aid: Three quarters of the world’s population has no access to the most simple dental pain relief, leaving billions to face a daily battle with pain in the toughest of life circumstances. Bridge2Aid is working to address this terrifying problem. Their vision is to provide safe emergency dental care for the millions of people currently suffering from dental pain throughout the developing world. Since 2002, 3.1 million people in East Africa have been given access to dental Care because of Bridge2Aid’s training programmes In order for them to continue to provide this unbelievably valuable service they need our continued support. Tooth whitening is one of the most simple and popular cosmetic dental procedures, helping to improve the confidence of thousands of people each year in the UK alone. The BACD whitening drive 2014 aims to put a smile on the face of your patients as well as the millions of disadvantaged people suffering with dental pain each year in the developing world. Working in association with Philips Zoom, Enlighten, Optident, Luke Barnett and Ken Poland Dental laboratories we want to encourage our members and their patients to donate the full cost of all “at home” tooth whitening procedures carried out over the course of the whitening drive month to charity.

All payments received for charity whitening procedures will be paid (in their entirety) directly to Bridge2Aid via the Just Giving website, the minimum payment is £150. Remember to quote your name and your patients name on the donation page. http://www.justgiving.com/BACD2012
You can obtain whitening drive packs to promote the event directly from Bridge2Aid. These packs will contain information and marketing material to help promote the event within your practice. Just email kayleigh@bridge2aid.org
All tooth whitening kits used for the whitening drive will be provided by either Philips Zoom, Enlighten or Optident at no cost the dentist. Please quote BACD Charity Whitening on your order.
All whitening trays will be provided by Luke Barnett or Ken Poland Dental Laboratory again, at no cost to the dentist.
All we ask our members to give is their time and expertise.

BACD charity whitening drive 2014 in 6 easy steps: Step 1 Order your free promotional packs from Bridge2Aid. Advertise in local press to attract as many new patients to your practice as possible. (Normally free for charity events) Step 2 Apply for your free whitening kits. (From Philips Zoom, Enlighten or Optident) Step 3 Assess patient suitability and take impressions. (Send to Luke Barnett or Ken Poland Dental Laboratories quoting BACD Charity on the lab docket) Step 4 Take a minimum payment of £150 for charity whitening (Patient will make the full payment via the Just Giving web site with the help of your reception team.) Step 5 Whiten Teeth Step 6 Smile!
