“Quarter in Review” Evaluation This quarter in Architectural Fundamentals 1 was a most successful quarter at SCAD, albeit stressful and intense. My professor was enthusiastic and helpful as were my fellow students and I felt that every assignment had a purpose and helped in the on going design process. Over the course of the last ten weeks I’ve spent in this class I feel that I have progressed as a designer, as an architect, and as an individual. By nature I am a bit stubborn and this can interfere with the learning process, but during this course I believe that I was able to let that side of me go and In doing so I was able to learn much more. I see now that one’s professor, and even fellow classmates, can have ideas which benefit one’s design. As for what I brought to the “design” table, I brought a very well rounded and cultured mind set as well as an eagerness to learn. Thus I was able to help many other students achieve their goals as well as mine own. It is in this that I will continue as a designer. Collaboration is a great tool that should be used more often because no art is created in a vacuum.
