Applications downloaded to a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7 and earlier will not be able to run on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone. For this reason the applications are not transferred to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone. If the application is available for BlackBerry 10 it will be available in BlackBerry World (search the application name to determine availability). If the application is not available, contact the software vendor for more information. Paired Bluetooth devices Due to hardware ID changes, all Bluetooth devices will need to be manually paired on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone. Password Keeper The Password Keeper data is migrated during a device switch, but the application is not included by default with the BlackBerry 10 OS. Open BlackBerry World and search for Password Keeper. Download and install the application in order to use existing data. Once installed the application should prompt for the password that was used on the previous smartphone. Some contacts or contact details are not synchronized from the BlackBerry 10 smartphone to Microsoft Outlook using BlackBerry Link After synchronizing the BlackBerry 10 smartphone to Microsoft Outlook using BlackBerry Link, so me contacts or contact details are not synchronized to Microsoft Outlook. Accounts configured for wireless synchronization (for example, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter) can only synchronize with the source they originate from. The BlackBerry 10 smartphone will visually link contacts from these various accounts together to avoid duplications in the contact list, however, the entries remain synchronized only to their original source and therefore will not be synchronized to Microsoft Outlook.

Add the desired contact information to Microsoft Outlook manually or by exporting contacts from the source account to a CSV file and then importing to Microsoft Outlook. Once the contact information has been added, synchronize again using BlackBerry Link. For information on importing contacts in Microsoft Outlook, see support.microsoft.com and search for "Import contacts to Microsoft Outlook". For more information on BlackBerry 10 smartphone synchronization with BlackBerry Link, see KB34368.
