The house and the trees, Rehabilitation of an old apartment Collaboration with CNA, Milan, 2015 The design of the interior spaces follows the main characteristic of the house: trees penetrate the apartment from all the windows. For this reason all the decorative elements and colors are inspired by nature: leaves, roots, branches, wood, green and so on. I participated in all the phases of the project, from concept through to completion, meeting clients, preparing and delivering drawing packages, supervising the construction site. 6
Superdesign Show at Supertudio, Milan Design Week 2015 Collaboration with CNA, Milan, 2015 Every year Superstudio hosts one of the most important exhibitions during Milan Design Week: Superdesign Show, which shows the most interesting Italian and International production, but also life-style projects and proposals that make design their starting point. Our team had to visually coordinate all the exhibitors’ projects, design common areas and figure out 2015 branding. I participated in all the phases of the project, from concept through to completion, meeting clients, preparing and delivering drawing packages. 7

The house of the sculptor, Bespoke rehabilitation of a sculptor’s house - laboratory Collaboration with Dan Andresan, Baia Mare, Romania, 2014 - 2016 The bespoke rehabilitation project turns the two storey house - laboratory of sculpture into a luxury home in which every piece of furniture has been designed and custom-made by local craftsmen. Materials: white metal sheet, solid wood and roman travertine. My main task is to prepare technical drawing packages and solve problems if necessary, so that craftsmen can realise all the furnishing elements. 8

Re-drawing thresholds, Musealization of the ancient Acropolis of Pergamon Post Graduate Itinerant Master Degree Thesis 2015 Like most of the fortified archaeological sites in ancient world, Pergamon is composed of a series of concentric walls, each of which embodies a system of buildings, whose degree of accessibility decreases as it reaches the center. For this reason, the access points (the thresholds) were crucial. The project focuses on that issue; its main objective is to allow a re-reading of Pergamon as a fortified citadel, working on the concept of threshold and wall, now completely missing. 12

Teatro Greco and Museum
Musealization of Teatro Greco, Grandi Terme and Museum in Villa Adriana Premio Piranesi Prix de Rome 2013 Award, Master Degree Thesis The project’s main targets are: respect the bucolic nature of Villa Adriana and the consolidated image of Pantanello as grassy space, re-define Teatro Greco’s typological identity, re-define Grandi Terme’s architectural boundaries. According to these objectives, I propose a museum composed by two grassy - roof underground pavilions (supporting services for visitors and permanent exhibition). Musealization of Grandi Terme consists in re-define the introverted nature of the building through the reconstruction of perimeter walls. 14

Un anno ai piedi dei giganti, Fotografie di Garibaldi - Repubblica - Porta Nuova Urban Center, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Milan. 7th May - 21st May 2013 Milan’s consolidated image is not related to tall and modern buildings, but development processes are transforming this visual perception. My photos reveal an objective approach towards these urban transformations: I want to demonstrate that Milan is filling with construction sites, people and new buildings all its free spaces, both vertically and horizontally. Milan is ‘architecturally’ congesting more and more. 16

Contemporary Art Gallery + exhibition “Is it true?” Milan, Italy, 2011 The building is divided in two separate volumes: at level 0 they do not connect, in order to generate a public square, but at higher levels they are connected to allow the circulation in the exhibition rooms. I designed the set up for an exhibition in the new gallery, chosing 50 works of art; the theme is ‘Is it true?’, whose target is to make the visitor doubt about what he is seeing and get him involved in the show through all the questions he is invited to ask himself. 18
Citizen Home Gallery, Converting an old factory into temporary housing and laboratory for artists Milan, Italy, 2011 The existing building, whose total surface is 1110 sm, is converted into housing and laboratory for artists, including five guest houses with common living areas, work spaces, an exhibition space, a projection room, a cafeteria, a bookshop. The cafeteria, the bookshop and the projection room are strategically placed near the public entrance, to let citizens use these facilities all day long. 19
Lives on Wires, Deep Purple’s ‘Made in Japan’ 40th anniversary exhibition. Basilica Palladiana, Vicenza, Italy, 2013 A tunnel invites visitors to personally experience the band’s frenzy life during the 70’s, characterized by incessant touring, alcohol, rehearsals sessions and live exhibitions on stage. The big aula of Basilica Palladiana is dedicated to the experience of the live concert. Here 5 big stairs, each of which corresponds to a member of the band, are connected the one with the other by luminescent wires. 20

Selene, A lamp for a yacht. Restyling a gyroscopic lamp used on vessels and ships until the beginning of the XXth century. 2013 The main target of gyroscopic lamps is, through rotations on 2 axes, to stick the candle vertically while sailing despite all the movements of the ship. Selene is the result of a reinterpretation of those ancient lamps; it is composed by a spherical steel cage, which surrounds the gyroscopic system and the lamp. Selene is thought to be a pendant lamp, as in ancient times. 21
