TRADITION COLLECTION “Além das aptidões e das qualidades herdadas, é a tradição que faz de nós aquilo que somos”
“In addition to the skills and inherited qualities, the tradition it is what makes us who we are.”
With TRADITION collection we magnify the memories of this unique and rich knowledge, passed down from generation to generation, which tends to disappear. However, that is the source of people’s identity, since it carries with it their history and it is part of their intangible cultural heritage.

I made a room of mine in each pattern, what poem of endless verses. Needle and thread in hand, I learned to fly, My mother taught me. “ The doily crochet had produced over the years an importance in people’s lives that transcends its true nature. It was considered a pastime of the wealthy social classes in the Renaissance, as it was in the 1st world war produced by nuns and sold to feed the orphans of the war. This piece created endless memories over time that ALMA DE LUCE® intends to glorify here. The NAPERON mirror is a timeless piece that reflects eternal beauty in the richness of their pattern.

These flags fixed to a mast, or sewn in strings stretched between two points, flit freely in the wind, around the monasteries in sacred places, or attached to the branch, we see them everywhere. ALMA DE LUCE pays tribute to this tradition through its interpretation, presenting a piece rich in details and mystery. Lungta is defi nitely a key element to the most luxurious interior designs.

Mosaic Mirror “Tell me craftsman, what poetry do you do that is born from your heart? They are mosaic carpets, They are cement secrets, that I drawing on the floor!” Tile or hydraulic mosaic is a type of handmade coating made with cement, used in floors and walls, which had its heyday between the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries. It was presented as an alternative to marble or as a “pottery” that did not required cooking. It rises up in the south of Europe and quicky spreads itself across Mediterranean countries, becoming popular also in Victorian England and Russia. The drawings or patterns represented geometric shapes, flowers or leaves. The most delicate ones used a motive that was repeated and propagated by the pieces in a combination of two, four or six different mosaics, resulting in beautiful patterns or simulating a carpet that covered the whole room. ALMA DE LUCE presents us the Mosaic mirror of deep color, which tells us this memory in an elegant and contemporary way. The mirror can be executed in brass or with various dimensions fitting the intended stunning interior.

Let you fall in love with my defects… Love my scars! Love the remains that get out of me! Restore me with your hands, with your soul, with your heart!” Kintsukuroi is a japanese word to the art of repairing pottery with gold and lacquer, and for the understanding that the piece becomes more beautiful because it has broken. In fact, repairing a vase becomes a unique and special object. Imperfections are seen as a celebration of life, in the small and big mistakes made and the possibility of learning from it. Of creased lines, broken by the irregularity of the golden touch, ALMA DE LUCE introduce a sofa, the KINTSUKUROI. This piece inspires us in its simplicity, referring us to a refined sense of elegance and contemporaneity.

It dazzles by its size, and the endless application of Zellij tile. The palace was built for the 4 wives and 24 concubines of the Grand Vizier, but took the name of the preferred one: bright or shine.
