Brakenhale School is a mixed comprehensive situated on the southern side of Bracknell that first opened in 1958.

Martek were tasked with the manufacture and installation of the food technology

classroom and store, learning resource centre and reprographic print room.

Working for Neilcott Construction, Martek spent three weeks on site and also supplied and installed all the equipment.

The food technology area featured

workstations for 2-3 students with sinks and hobs for pupils to carry out practical work, an adjustable teacher’s demonstration area and an attractive modern red and black colour theme.
