TODAY’S SITUATION
’’people mostly just pass through... ...we don’t work with them’’ FINANCIAL LOSSES <=> YOYO EFFECT OF ECONOMY 1. phase - selection of the most crucial spot to become an Atractive Urban Waterfront 2. phase - later improvement of less important banks
’’There by the Old Paper factory by the new waterfront it is so pleasant that I would love to get off the tram and to reach the Slovany district by foot. Walk is nice and the time is actually shorter than by public transport !’’ - Attractive intervention
’’MAGNET’’ / PLACE TO STOP, TO BE’’ ’’THE CENTER OF THE SPIDER’S WEB’’
Many potentials of the spot: pedestrian route - people pass through without any notice of the landscape character
• bicycle & pedestrian routes (2 districts connection) • strong industrial history • view axises

DETAILS
Non-existing imagination
Structure of well connected positive places in the city.
Existing negative
Negative places are connected very well.
Existing non-cooperation
Co-existing positive and negative structures. The negative structure is better and firmly connected.
The New ‘’Agro’’ Imagination
The positive structure can use the power of the strong ’’negative’’ connection by merging those two structures together. They can benefit from each other.
The positive spot / socially, culturaly, naturally,..
The negative places / traffic junction, brownfields,..
Linear types / structures for pedestrians, etc. added to the existing highways, bridges, ... = balance
pedestrian-cyclo routes in the city and in nature, parks,...
Traffic routes (cars, trains), traffic bridges, ...
Spaces, places, buildings,.. / conversions of Brownfiels or other negative places

THE ZONE OF REMIXING. THE ZONE OF A BETTER WORLD ! Site footprint _ 62 500m2 Assignment: _ to create a possibility for people to live in a very positive and natural way Domoradice
_ to use an old agricultural zone no longer used. A zone perfectly connected to the existing village centre _ a large zone with many farm buildings + 1 main object - the baroque fort / chateau (17. century) _ the NEW CENTRE of village + culture, education, dwelling, manufactories and meditation buildings _ to create a MASTERPLAN

CONCEPT APPLIED TO DIFFERENT TERRAINS OF TWO DWELLING ZONES Concept of dwelling zone 1: - Entrance into little aisles - cluster of nests / little squares
Nests - Little squares - division into smaller ’’nests’’ for a manageable friendly community
Houses - Groundfloor - 1. Floor
- semi - private - entered from a ’’nest’’ - private - old village invisibly transitioned into a new zone SAMPLE HOUSE FOR AN ARTIST
PRIVATE PROPERTY LEVEL PUBLIC SPACES LEVEL Dwelling zone 1
Dwelling zone 2
Concept of this dwelling zone 2: - separating public and private by height - public - ground level - privat & semi-private - combined on platforms - gardens, leisure, sidewalks, ..
Platforms - open attachable structure - openings and perforation where needed - light visual connections to the ground - using space in volume, not only as a surface
Houses - allow wide variety depending on actual needs - using of local materials (stone, straw, hemp, wood, soil & clay)
SPACE UNDERNEATH A MEMBRANE SHELTER for alternative architecture
An sociological project based on observating the site, people, nature, surrounding. As a result we have suggested several low-cost adaptions of the observated area with an emphasis on minimal budget with crucial consequences. Long time was spent on finding of the small key elements of the spot that are needed to be adjusted, changed or to be made new. In future the design should not ask for any extra effort in oganisation (extra money). The island is adjusted to work on its own just being used by the existing opened comunity already the island using. - existing and incoming shippers with industrial ships - old sluice-mechanism workers - inhabitants of the surrounding area
