Back by popular demand, Sir Thomas Allen (The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni) creates a riotous production of Rossini’s beloved comedy. The action centres around Figaro, one of opera’s most delightful characters and perhaps the only voice of reason in a world of young love and old foolishness The multiplying disguises, pranks, and daring escapes engineered by Figaro are enhanced by Simon Higlett’s enchanting designs, bright with Spanish colours. This revival is sung in English for a fresh spin on Rossini’s larger-thanlife characters and antics.

MUSIC HALL - ART EXHIBITION

Symphony in Grey by Mae Diansangu

SYMPHONY IN GREY is a poetic exploration of time and place in Aberdeen. The title is borrowed from the 1999 Lonely Planet’s Guide, which described the Northeast Scottish city as “an extraordinary symphony in grey.” This collection of poems invites readers to meander down familiar streets and engage with a multifaceted greyness of complex tones; sometimes devoid of warmth, but never of spirit. Symphony in Grey is currently available to view at the Music Hall until mid-February 2024.

When Sarah Millican was a bairn, she wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Quiet at school, not many friends, no boobs til she was 16. Now? NOW she is loud, with good friends, a cracking rack and goose booing all over the shop. In Late Bloomer, Sarah’s brand-new stand-up show, she explores how one became the other.

The BAFTA-winning comedian and ‘national sensation’ (Evening Standard) Iain Stirling, is bringing his intuitive razor-sharp humour back for 2024. As the iconic voice of Love Island, star and writer of sitcom Buffering on ITV, Iain hits the road once more with a brand new hour (of jokes) in his biggest tour to date!

After a sell-out tour in 2022, Romesh is back with a brand-new show examining the human condition... are people inherently good? Is charity always a positive thing? Is hustling the key to success? Or is all this a load of rubbish we’ve made up to keep people working hard for no reason?

Attributed to Mark Twain, humour is defined as Tragedy Plus Time. Come and join Ed as he tests that formula by mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs. “Book early as sell-outs are the norm!” Scottish Field ✭✭✭✭ “Definitely stand-up at its best” VoiceMagUK ✭✭✭✭✭

Spend an entertaining evening with the stars of Channel 4 hit Escape to the Chateau, Dick and Angel Strawbridge, and experience the Chateau like never before. A highly interactive show, with hilarious games and the chance to pose your own questions, you do not want to miss this.

Ladies & Gentleman! Gary Meikle is back yet again with another self-written, self-deprecating show to leave you all short of breath again. If you can guarantee one thing from Gary it is that he will work, his 5’8 ass off to make sure everyone that sees him live wants to come back for more.

”Britain’s Funniest Band” (The Guardian) have made appearances on The Last Leg (Channel 4), Peter Crouch’s Year- Late Euros (BBC One), they are Dictionary Corner regulars on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and the only band to ever host Never Mind The Buzzcocks. There’ll be comedy, songs, enthusiastic dancing, and a lot of mucking about.

If you like fast-paced, edgy one-liners then get ready to be happy. Jimmy Carr is going back on tour with his brandnew show Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny. Jimmy tells jokes, and jokes are like magnets. Jokes attract people, but they can also repel.

When life gives Rhod lemons… In his last show The Book of John, Rhod was dealing with some pretty pungent life citrus, and an idiot called John. Little did he know that things were about to turn even more sour... But Rhod’s not bitter; he’s bouncing back and feeling remarkably zesty.
