In the first F1 race of 2024, held in Bahrain on March 2nd, Max Verstappen from Red Bull dominated the event, securing a victory with teammate Sergio Pérez finishing second, and Carlos Sainz completing the podium. The race was action-packed, setting an exhilarating tone for the start of the 2024 season. The second race was also won by Max. The third race was a surprise with his car being forced to retire.

This result highlights Red Bull and Verstappen’s dominance throughout the season, cementing their status at the pinnacle of Formula 1. The event was filled with action and strategy, featuring numerous on-track battles and pivotal pit-stop decisions that influenced the final standings of the race.

The race in Abu Dhabi was noteworthy not just for Verstappen’s record but also for being Franz Tost’s last race as team principal of AlphaTauri, and for the varied tire strategies employed by the teams, adding intrigue and complexity to the competition, and the highest expectations for the 2024 season.

The final race of the 2023 Formula 1 season took place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing clinched the win. This victory was Verstappen’s 19th of the season, setting a record in F1 history as the first driver to lead over 1000 laps in a single season. Verstappen finished the race over 10 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, with George Russell of Mercedes completing the podium. Sergio Pérez, Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull, finished in fourth place, followed by Lando Norris of McLaren in fifth.
