This book is just 1 of 4 in which I will go a week without certain things I’ve come to depend upon whether I feel I need them or can’t start the day properly without them. My experiences are documented and designed each day until a book is completed which is what you see here. Within these pages I’ve documented my daily experiences of the week I spent without eating anything with obvious sugar contents, such as Chocolate, Sweets and of course sugar in any of my drinks. Everything here is a visual representation of my thoughts and experiences with some sections simplified with text to best describe what had happened when these events were documented.

TO MYSELF
I’m having a pizza delivered at midnight...
Not sure I can go another day without it...
REFLECTIO N Despite my effort to keep going until exactly 14:17pm I did technically make it to the day. I had pizza at the stroke of midnight and... I hated it, it tasted weird, nothing like how I remembered it being. It wasn’t just the pizza either, chocolate, ribena and anything that had sugary relations tasted in every sense of the word, dissapointing. Coca Cola tastes bitter, it’s not something I endulge in very often but there is ordinarily a sweetness to it but not anymore. Normally I can eat an entire Domino’s large pizza without breaking a sweat but this time I barely even finished half of it, so I boxed it back up and put it on my printer for another day. I had no idea that my taste in food could change so drastically over 7
days, I can be slightly supersticious at times so I’ve kind of taken this as a way of being told I should make some changes, except I’ve been nudged in the right direction with my tastes in food changing so much.
