In Our Nature is a site-responsive series set in the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens throughout the seasons, symbolically linking the seasonal changes with the stages of life of the people in the photographs. In Our Nature is a symbolic reminder that we are not separate, nor superior to nature. It is an acknowledgement that we are indeed a part of nature and that to wreak destruction upon nature is to ultimately wreak destruction upon ourselves. This body of work was created for the 2018 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art.
