Cancellation policy
If a screening is cancelled, you will have three options: receive a refund less the booking fee; receive credit for the full amount for another screening of any film; select a different screening of the same film.
Leeds Film Player
A selection of films from the LIFF 2021 programme will be available to rent for short periods on our streaming platform Leeds Film Player: player.leedsfilm. com. The films available on the Player are listed in the guide schedule and have ‘Online’ icons in the programme sections. Any updates to film availability will be announced on leedsfilm.com and the Player.
Feature films on the Player will cost £7 to rent and short film programmes £5 unless otherwise specified. There will also be discounted packages for renting multiple films and if you have an Explorer Gold Pass you can see all films for free. You will need to set up an account on the Player to be able to rent films.
Film start times & certification
Screenings at LIFF work a little differently to the regular cinema experience. We don’t show adverts or trailers and we aim to start all films at or soon after the times advertised: there is often a short introduction at the start. For certification advice, please see individual film pages on leedsfilm.com: where a film doesn’t have a BBFC certificate, entry is for ages 18 or over only unless otherwise specified.
