Canon EOS T4i - A Fantastic Overall DSLR Photography and pictures will always hold a special place in our hearts. When there are special occasions and events that happen in our lives we always find the need to take pictures. Pictures allow us to cherish and capture that very special moment into something that we can look at and browse until we’re old. Pictures are sentimental fragments of our life and our memories that we want to preserve and keep in a safe place. Holding such deep meanings in our hearts and in our minds, people want to take the best quality of pictures that can vividly capture those special moments. Thus, people are always on the lookout for great quality cameras that can help them achieve that. Canon is one brand that has always been known to be the top producers and manufacturers of cameras. So every time the company releases new models and lines to their already wide array of choices, any photography enthusiast and photographers can’t help but get excited. They always provide new features and innovations in technology that has made the brand a number one choice for cameras. One of the newest additions to the Canon family is the Canon EOS T4i. It is dubbed as the entry-level flagship model of the company. This camera is definitely one of the best cameras to choose if you are an aspiring professional photographer or videographer. This camera promises its user a relatively high image quality with its 18.0 megapixel sensor, APS-C sensor, which helps the camera to capture images with exceptional clarity and tonal range. As we'd expect, the T4i is powered by the Digic 5 image processor that helps make high-speed continuous shooting of up to 5.0 fps possible. It has an expandable ISO of up to 12800, appropriate for shooting images from bright to dim light. The Canon EOS T4i also becomes the first SLR from any manufacturer to feature a touchscreen. Using the same capacitive technology as today’s popular mobile devices, this new screen is touch-sensitive and delivers intuitive touch panel operation. In Playback mode, you can "swipe" side-to-side to view your images as well as "pinch" to zoom in and out on an image. Touchscreen also works when choosing menu options. You can still use the camera buttons to set menu options, but once you try doing it with the touchscreen, you'll never bother with the buttons again. There's also an anti-smudge coating which aims to reduce the impact of its newfound touch-sensitivity. HD video recording is another serious upgrade in the Canon EOS Rebel T4i. It becomes the first EOS model with a Movie Servo AF that operates very evenly and silently, especially when the camera is paired with Canon’s new EF and EF-S STM lenses. The Movie Servo AF functions continuously during video recording, which means it works nearly as well as an AF system you’d get on a professional camcorder. It’s definitely a big step forward for Canon, and it should please videographers who want the ability to record on the fly without having to worry about manual focus. In conclusion, The Canon EOS T4i is a great DSLR for an aspiring professional photographer or videographer. It delivers extremely good photo and video quality in a compact, lightweight, feature-filled, easy-to-use body that carries a very affordable price tag.
