Christmas 2011 The committee would like to wish all members and supporters of the Limerick Polocrosse club. “A Happy, Peaceful Christmas and a Prosperous New Year” The year itself began as an extremely cold one. As if we could forget. Snow and sub zero temperatures made play impossible and while Limerick did appear to escape the worst of the weather. It was as close to a white Christmas as was ever seen in these here parts. We finally got to understand what Bing Crosby was on about when he sang “White Christmas”.
fun filled event that saw, Martin Jnr, Richie Crockett & Hazel run out as winners on the day. There was plenty of Food and Craic in the developing club house afterwards. This annual event has proven to be a favourite amongst club members and the forth coming Patrick’s day tournament is definitely one for next year’s calendar.
