Deeside suggests that the visitor profile will comprise largely of families, mature and professional couples and corporate groups.Approximately 80% of visitors will come from Aberdeen City and ‘Shire with the remainder from outwith the area. Our initial survey of the performance area and its infrastructure suggest an attendance of up to 6000 people can be comfortably accommodated.
An Eco-friendly Event Whilst the influx of visitors to the event, most of them by car, will make it impossible for the event to be truly eco friendly it will be the intention of the organisers to minimise the impact of this event on the environment. This will be done by initiatives such as using biodiesel generators, recycling waste, using a deposit-based cup and plate service thus allowing us to further re-cycle, encouraging car sharing schemes and providing coach services from key hubs thus minimising also vehicle impacts to the site.
