I tried to force it but that didn’t work. We both needed to get to work, so I suggested that I call security for help, rather than leave her vehicle open. I stayed with her until security came. Security was able to lower the hatch so her vehicle was secure. She later emailed me thanking me for the help. It felt good to help someone in need ! —Nancy B. “SMALL GESTURES CAN BRING BIG SMILES! ” I was running errands and had a craving for an iced coffee. I stopped at my favorite drive-thru, and as I was paying, I dropped four one-dollar bills. But it’s impossible to open your car door when you’re so close to the building. As I was about to pull up to get out of my car to retrieve my cash, the woman from the car behind me noticed my predicament and came to my rescue. I was so thankful for her kind gesture. My day was brightened so much by her help ! It’s not always the big gestures that make us smile, it’s the little things in life that add up. Recently, I was serving an older senior citizens. lady, and unfortunately, her debit card wouldn’t lady, and unfortunately, her debit card wouldn’t work. She was quite upset and tried several times work. She was quite upset and tried several times with no success. There was a gentleman in the next aisle who was watching what was happening. He came over and insisted on paying for her order and then walked away. The lady was overcome with gratitude. She got emotional, and tears started to roll down my own cheeks to see how grateful she was.
