Since 1988, ESF Events have been organising some of the biggest and most prestigious youth football events in the UK and Europe. With over 1000 teams participating every year, we’re proud of our reputation as the UK’s number one youth football festival.

The experience of being away together is as important as the tournament itself for many teams - there is no better way to boost team morale. The Festival is staged at the UK’s premier holiday resorts at Butlins & Haven, and Europe’s most exciting resort, Disneyland® Paris.

With spectacular special effects and an electric atmosphere, our celebrity presentations are the highlight of the tour for many teams. Celebrity guests have included Chris Smalling, Sir Geoff Hurst, Robbie Fowler, Casey Stoney, Sue Smith & many more.

What Makes ESF Different? We’re well aware there are a number of alternatives for youth football teams when deciding which company to book your tour with - so why choose us? With ESF You Will Find The biggest tournaments in the UK with up to 200 teams from all over the UK participating in our feature festivals. This enables us to control the draw so you do not play against teams you are playing against week in week out. Professionally organised events with a team of our own tournament organisers at every festival. We employ over 150 tournament organisers every year for our festivals. The very best holiday centres in the UK with quality accommodation, excellent evening entertainment and superb sports and leisure facilities on resort. If the holiday centre isn’t good enough we won’t use it, simple as that! Quality and value. There may be cheaper events out there but you should look carefully at where you are staying and what you are getting.

Kick-off’s at 8.30 in the morning!!! Getting up at 7.00am doesn’t make for much of a holiday. The earliest kick-off at the Festival is 10.00am.

ESF FESTIVAL FINALE We’re delighted to announce the launch of the ESF Festival Finale – a unique event that will celebrate the achievements of teams at the ESF Festival of Football.

To be crowned ESF Champions is always a tremendous achievement. In 2013, the Champions of each age group, at every Festival, will have the opportunity to test themselves even further, as they will be invited to attend the Festival Finale and pit their skills against the Champions from all the other ESF Festivals. To win the prestigious ESF Fair Play award is also a fantastic honour. In 2013, all Fair Play winners will enter a draw, from which 24 teams will be selected at random. These teams will be invited to attend the ESF Festival Finale for a fantastic experience day. The Finale is a one day event that is free of charge. It will take place in the summer at an elite sporting facility in the UK which will be announced later in the year.

Girls Teams On Tour Faye White

We’ve come a long way since our first girls festival in 1993, where five U14 teams joined us. There’s been a dramatic growth in the 19 years since then with over 1000 girls teams taking part! Girls football is a key aspect of the ESF Festival of Football and 2013 is set to be another great year for ESF with over 150 girls teams expected to participate in our Festivals. Girls tournaments are available for U10 to U16 teams at 4 of our very best festivals in 2013, so we expect to see the number of girls teams entering our festivals increasing again this year. At all of our girls festivals, we invite some of the leading names in ladies football to join us at our presentations. We were delighted to welcome Casey Stoney, Sue Smith and Faye White to the Festival in 2012, giving every girl the opportunity to meet a role model from the ladies game. This has proved to be an extremely popular addition to our spectacular presentation ceremonies. At ESF we’re committed to girls football and hope to see the growth of the game continue throughout the UK. We will continue to provide well organised, well attended tournaments for girls teams of all abilities - so go on, make 2013 a season to remember and join us for a great end of season tour.

In 2013 we will be staging two fantastic festivals at Butlins Bognor Regis, over the May Day & Spring Bank Holiday weekends. Butlins Minehead is something of a jewel in the crown for ESF. Located right on the beach, yet on the doorstep of the great wilderness of Exmoor National Park, it really is a magnificent setting for a family football festival.

The Minehead Festival of Football is the biggest festival of its kind in the South West with 200 boys and girls football teams from all over England, Wales and further afield participating every year. In fact, the demand for the 2012 Festival was so high, we’ve added a second event to fit everyone in! With prices £20 cheaper than the May Bank Holiday Festival, we’re sure the new April festival will appeal to our teams. The onsite facilities at Butlins are fantastic. There’s a huge variety of sports and leisure activities, the Splash Waterworld with flumes, slides and wave machines, superb evening entertainment venues and great places to eat and drink. NEW £13MILLION WATER PARK In 2013, Butlins Skegness will be opening an ultra modern £13m water park which will be ready in time for the Festival. THE 2013 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL 2013 will be the fourth year of the International Youth Festival of Football at Disneyland® Paris. Teams from all over France, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have participated in the Festival and the feedback is always fantastic. We’re delighted to be staging the Festival again at Disneyland Paris in the Easter Holidays in 2013. This superb Festival is open to youth teams of all abilities from across Europe and combines all the magic and thrilling rides Disney has on offer, with a fantastic International Youth Football Tournament. We offer the choice of a fully inclusive travel, accommodation and festival package or a self drive package option.

Our fully-inclusive package includes return coach travel from your club in the UK, entry into the football tournament, accommodation at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch® with breakfast, 3 day Hopper Ticket to Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park. How to Book, Terms & Conditions and Tournament Details HOW TO BOOK 1. Select a venue and call ESF Events on 01664 566360 to check availability. 2. Reserve a place. We will make a provisional booking free of charge which will hold your team a place for 2 weeks. 3. Return the Team Registration Form (P33-34) and Team Registration Fee. We will then acknowledge your entry to the Festival and send you your accommodation booking form. 4. Return Accommodation Booking Form and deposits (£25pp). You will then be advised of your final balance which will be due 56 days prior to your tour. FESTIVAL FORMAT Friday - No football is played on the day of arrival so teams can relax and get settled into their accommodation and enjoy the evening’s entertainment. Our managers meeting will take place in the evening at around 8pm. Saturday & Sunday - Each age section will normally be split into different groups with the group winners going though to contest the knock-out stages. The format may vary according to the number of teams entered in each age group. The celebrity presentation will take place on the Sunday evening. Monday - No football is played on the Monday at the Festivals. Teams therefore have the option of travelling home on the Sunday evening or Monday morning. FESTIVAL RULES & TOURNAMENT PROGRAMMES A full tournament programme will be sent to all participating teams in the final briefing pack which you will receive 7-10 days before the Festival takes place. The final briefing pack will include the Festival Rules which have been sanctioned by the appropriate National Football Association. QUALIFICATION FOR TOURNAMENT All teams attending the Festival must be affiliated to a County, Area or School Football Association. Centre of Excellence and Academy teams affiliated to professional clubs and ‘representative’ sides are not permitted to enter the Festival. TEAM REGISTRATION FEES 7-a-side = £139 per team (inc. VAT) 9-a-side = £159 per team (inc. VAT) 11-a-side = £189 per team (inc. VAT) Club Registration = £399 per club (inc. VAT) Team/Club Registration fees are non-refundable. TRANSPORT Teams are responsible for organising their own transport to and from the pitches whilst at the Festival. At the Ayr Festival, there is a bus service between the Holiday Park and the football pitches for which weekend passes are available to purchase for £5 per person. PLAYER REGISTRATION All teams will be required to complete a Player Registration Form, which includes a passport-sized photograph of each player to be registered for the Festival. These forms will be signed by your club secretary to verify that all the details are correct. The committee will retain a copy of this form in the event that it should be necessary to follow up a query about a player’s age.

GUEST PLAYERS If some of your own players are unable to come to the Festival, leaving you short of a full team, it will be possible for you to bring a maximum of two ‘guest players’ with you to the Festival. ‘Guest players’ must produce documentary evidence to your club secretary to prove that they are the correct age and they must bring these documents with them to the Festival. The remainder of your squad must be registered with your club for the current season and you must bring your league registration documents with you to the Festival to prove this is the case. SCOTTISH & FRENCH VENUES At the Ayr Festivals, the following age qualifications apply in accordance with all youth football played in Scotland. Boys and girls are permitted to play together in all age groups.

SPECIAL DISPENSATION Where National Associations employ different age group qualification dates (i.e. 1st September as per the English FA), their domestic age levels will be accepted. Therefore an English U12 team would play in the U12 section at the Ayr and Paris Festivals. WINNERS & RUNNERS-UP AWARDS There are superb individual awards for the full squad of the winners and runners-up. The winning team in each age group will also receive the ESF custom made 20” Champions Trophy to keep. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with English FA and FA of Wales guidelines, all U7 & U8 sections at the Festival are non-competitive and results will not be recorded. All players will receive a quality participation trophy from a football celebrity to ensure all the children feel like winners. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the Scottish Youth Football Association guideline, all mini soccer at the Ayr Festivals will be non-competitive and results will not be recorded. SUBSTITUTES Up to seven substitutes can be named and used during each game in all age groups. Players who have been substituted can re-enter the game. KICK OFF TIMES & PITCH LOCATIONS To ensure you have as much time as possible to enjoy your holiday, the earliest kick-off will be 10.00am and matches are played within a close proximity of the holiday centres. WATCH OUT-SCOUTS ABOUT Scouts from some of the biggest clubs in the UK have been spotted at our Festivals. These include Arsenal, Manchester Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Celtic, Newcastle, Leicester City, Spurs, Everton, Leeds, Bolton, Manchester City and many more. A number of young players have been signed by professional clubs after being spotted at the Festival. EXCHANGE OF PENNANTS Although not compulsory, it is customary for teams to exchange a pennant or small memento before each game, in keeping with the spirit of the Festival. CHILD PROTECTION ESF Events support the Football Association’s Child Protection Policy. For a copy of the ‘Child Protection and Practice Handbook’ call the FA/NSPCC Child Protection Hotline on 0808 800 5000. All ESF tournament organisers are CRB checked. REFEREES Independent, qualified referees are appointed for all tournament matches. They are paid match fees by ESF Events and are accommodated free of charge, with meals provided. LOCAL TEAMS Teams from the local area where the tournaments are staged are permitted to apply for entry into the Festival by returning the team registration form. However, we cannot guarantee a place in the Festival until the numbers of touring teams are finalised in each age group. At this stage, if additional teams are required in a given age group, applications from local teams will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. DATA PROTECTION ESF Events will use the personal information that you provide to process your booking and provide your tour. We may also need to pass your information to third party service providers such as Butlins and Haven. It is your responsibility to inform all other members of your party what information about them you are providing to us, and what we will use it for. WRISTBANDS You will be allocated one wristband for each member of your party booked through ESF Events. Please be aware that people without a wristband will not be able to participate in the Festival, attend the presentation ceremony or enter evening entertainment venues at the holiday centre.


ACCOMMODATION IMPORTANT: Accommodation for your whole party, including players, families, managers and supporters, must be booked through ESF Events. Anyone not doing so will not be permitted to participate in the Festival or attend the presentation ceremony. The only exception to this is ‘local’ teams who are invited to participate in the Festival to ensure the best possible format in each age group. Accommodation will be allocated strictly on a firstcome first-served basis. If you select a particular size or grade of accommodation which is no longer available, you will be offered the nearest alternative. Accommodation will always be available once your registration has been accepted but we cannot guarantee your first choice of accommodation. For full terms and conditions of the holiday centres and full details of accommodation and facilities, please refer to the relevant holiday company brochure and the ESF Accommodation Booking Form. Half Board where indicated is breakfast and evening meal. Evening meal is included on the day of arrival, but not if you arrive after the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is included on the day of departure. BUTLINS Half board room prices are based on a minimum of 2 paying guests sharing a unit. Half board apartment prices are based on a minimum of 4 paying guests sharing a unit. Self catering prices are based on a minimum of 4 paying guests sharing a unit. At Bognor Regis, all Shoreline Hotel rooms are 4 berth and are based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing a room. In the Ocean Hotel, Compass Rooms are 2 berth, Mariner Rooms & Atlantis Rooms are 4 berth, Neptune Rooms are 5 berth. Wave Hotel Rooms are 4 berth and are based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing a Room. Wave Apartments are 4 berth or 6 berth. All accommodation in the Wave Hotel includes Half Board meals. The minimum occupancy does not include infants under the age of 2 years, who go free if you bring along your own cot. You may also hire a cot for a fee of £10 (linen is not provided) or pay a supplement of £35 if an infant under 2 sleeps in a bed. The ‘child’ rate is for ages 2-14 years at all Butlins resorts. HAVEN Self catering prices at all Haven parks are based on a minimum of 4 paying guests sharing a unit. The ‘child’ rate is for ages 2-11 years at all Haven parks. At all Haven parks there is no charge for infants under the age of 2 years. Cashback at Haven Parks. Put the following number of people in a self catering caravan and get Cashback from ESF Events. MINIMUM OCCUPANCY SUBSIDIES In cases where minimum occupancy is not reached as detailed, a full subsidy will be charged. The minimum occupancy does not include infants under the age of 2 years, who go free if you bring along your own cot. FREE PLACES AT ALL UK VENUES All teams will qualify for one free place for every 25 paying guests booked in your party to the value of the cheapest grade of accommodation booked by the members of your party. You do not need to include the deposit for this free place when you return your accommodation booking form. The free place will be deducted from your final balance.

ADULT TO CHILD RATIOS There is a minimum adult to child ratio of 1 to 2 at all Butlins resorts and 1 to 3 at all Haven parks. At least one responsible adult over the age of 21 must occupy each unit of accommodation. Single sex bookings are not accepted. ACCOMMODATION DEPOSITS & FINAL BALANCE Accommodation deposits at all venues are £25 per person. On receipt of your Team Registration Form, the Accommodation Booking Forms will be forwarded to you. You will need to return these forms, together with a deposit of £25 per person by a set date, normally 4 weeks after your Team Registration Form is received. The final balance will be due no later than 56 days before the Festival takes place. INSURANCE The 2013 ESF Festival of Football is covered for ‘Public Liability’ insurance by ESF Events. However, this does not cover individual teams or ‘person to person’ public liability, personal accident or injury whilst attending the Festival. We strongly recommend that all participating teams, if they are not already covered, should take out insurance cover for these risks. We also strongly recommend all members of your party take out appropriate holiday insurance. ESF EVENTS SPORTS INSURANCE As an alternative to the cover offered by Butlins, ESF Events group travel insurance policy will cover you for both normal holiday insurance and injury to the children whilst playing football. An application form detailing the policy will be included in your Accommodation Booking Pack. CANCELLATION If you cancel your booking due to illness, accident or change of circumstances, and if you have taken insurance cover, payments for accommodation arising from the cancellation may be covered. Team Registration Fees will not be refunded for cancellations. As soon as you know that you need to cancel you must call ESF Events on 01664 566360. Cancellation charges are calculated from the day ESF Events receive written instructions to cancel a booking. Please see the table below Length of time before the start of the Festival

FURTHER INFORMATION In the unusual event that at a particular venue there are insufficient entries in any age group to go ahead with the tournament, then you would be offered an alternative Festival. If there is not an alternative tournament which is acceptable to you, then your Team Registration Fees and any accommodation payments you have made would be refunded in full. Whilst every effort will be made to complete the tournament at each venue, in the event of extreme adverse weather conditions the organisers cannot accept responsibility for the curtailment of the tournament. If you do have any complaint about the organisation and running of the football tournament which you think may justify a refund in full or part of the Team Registration Fee, you must submit that complaint in writing within 14 days of the conclusion of the event.

EVENT ORGANISERS The ESF Festival of Football is organised and staged by ESF Events Ltd (Company Registration Number 7695303). BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT WHILE ON TOUR: It is the responsibility of the Group Leader and adults in the party to ensure the behaviour of all members of your party is acceptable at all times at the Festival. Clubs will be charged for any damages caused by members of their party. In extreme cases of unacceptable behaviour, the Resort Management & ESF Events reserve the right to terminate a holiday whereby part or all of a team may be required to leave the premises without refund. FORCE MAJEUR We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or expense arising from a change or cancellation to your tour which occurs due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control and that of our suppliers. Such events would include, for example, war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, pandemics, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, fire or adverse weather conditions, natural or nuclear disaster, decisions of Football Associations or similar events beyond our control. BROCHURE ACCURACY To the best of our knowledge, all information in this brochure is accurate at the time of print. Please be aware that there may be occasions when the facilities listed in this brochure are modified or unavailable due to factors beyond our control. FINANCIAL PROTECTION As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), an Association approved by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, ESF Events has provided a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 (PTR). This Bond provides security for and is restricted to monies paid by its UK customers in the event of ESF Event’s insolvency. Although not required under the PTR, the bond will also protect prepayments for accommodation only bookings made by UK customers. N.B. Accommodation bookings for ESF Events Festivals at Butlins and Disney are not covered as payment is made directly to Butlins and Sport Experiences for your accommodation.

Transport To and From Pitches All teams are responsible for organising their own transport to and from matches.
