CIVITAS INTEGRATED DESIGN SKETCH

This image represents the different sustainable attributes the Civitas House offers. The design features offer the owners the ability to live self sufficiently. KEY FEATURES:

> Energy- civitas creates 170% more energy than it will use through the features shown in the image (solar panels, geothermal, layered skin system) > Rain harvesting- the site is able to achieve 83% reduction in potable water through the collection system that can contain 3,400 gallon cisterns. > Ecology- 25% of the roof is vegetated and 100% of the site plantings are native species that support pollination.

Other sustainable design features are included in the interior.
