yazd is an architecturally unique city in the center of Iran which is called the step sister of Venice by Unesco. It has almost 1,000,000 population and every year welcomes many visitors from all around the world. Therefore, the city airport as a first impression of city should be unique and well designed. The design shuld be simultanesouly modern and showing the identity of design context. Concept of design has inspired from deserts surrounding the city. tree shape of columns is symbol of thornbushes and smooth wavy roofs are the symbol of desert sands accumulated in wavy shapes.
