Proposal from last year Question 1: What is Good? - To what extent does Social Responsibility impact on the role and function of Illustration? In cop 3 I am tend to write an essay about Hong Kong’s political and social issues, although I have written an essay about the social and political issues in first year, I still want to investigate more about the political and social issue happening in Hong Kong. In first year’s essay, I have explored some research on how illustration plays the role in political and social in an upheaval society. I am interested in this topic and I am willing to see and explore more about this. In the next essay, I want to explore some more about how separatism, racism, independent, superiority, the changing of identities, and the relationship between both identities. Some of this questions had been exploring for awhile, such as how the situation, currency and position changed in over a decade after Hong Kong has been taken back to China. However I still couldn't find the answers to them and I would like to investigate on them. I remember I have borrowed some books in the library and they were very helpful for the research in first year. As Richard mentioned, I might go and have a look on the google library to see if there are any books and documentations relevant to this topic. At the moment I am not 100% sure what the subtitle of the essay, but I think I am going to have the first question about social Responsibility impact on the role and function of Illustration. I need to go and research more about it.

South China Morning Post, the Standard post,

English online newspaper in Hong Kong. I have read some news through these website, they are reliable and maintain neutrality.

I am more interested in how Hong Kong has changed the national education since 2014’s umbrella revolution. National education has always been an arguable issue after the handover. Do people think the government promotes something “wrong” to the public? ● ● ●

National education=propaganda but didn’t tell what have the government done to the students? Or even brainwashed?(play the Chinese national song before the 18:30 news everyday) Start learning in young age?(nursery?)
