COURSE DESCRIPTION Students will study some initial safety in the workshop. A number of small and simple projects will be constructed to introduce students to basic skills and equipment. Students will study safety in the workshop; design factors; workshop graphics; surface finishing; using woodworking tools and equipment; methods of joining timber and timber-turning. Students will also be given the opportunity to investigate and provide solutions to design challenges.
