PREFACE

“Urban Revival of Canal Precinct Alappuzha” is a 9th semester Urban Design studio project carried out by the students of School of Architecture, Government Engineering College. Thrissur. Alappuzha, the only muncipality in Kerala which have canal system that support transportation network was taken for our study, limiting our study area to a small nucleus, surrounding the canal system.
